The first company to use programmable logic controllers (PLC's) in a generating set control system, the first generating set company to achieve BS5750 (now ISO9001) accreditation, Broadcrown has constantly been at the forefront of technology and design.

Broadcrown has invested heavily in the latest production facilities with new factories at Hixon (England) and Newtown (Wales). These facilities enhance the Group's ability to produce power generation systems that meet the exacting standards of design, installation, operation and performance that customers deserve.

Manufacturing facilities have been matched by investment in customer support. In addition to worldwide customer support facilities available from Hixon, the Group also has its own facilities in Miami and Singapore to provide local support to distributors and customers, whatever their power needs.

Broadcrown have two main production units in the UK, plus several specialist feeder plants providing dedicated components such as welded assemblies, sheet metal fabrications and wiring looms.

The Hixon and Newtown plants incorporate the latest fully networked computer administration systems and a customer presentation area, plus the latest 2D and 3D CAD design facilities.
